What Happened to Sean?

Chances are you haven’t noticed a thing.

You’ve been living your life, doing your thing, and you had no idea that I haven’t posted a new Location Rebel video in 3 months.

But to me, it feels like I’ve been completely MIA.

In fact, in the 14 years I’ve been running Location Rebel, I think this is the longest stretch of time I’ve gone without publishing brand-new content.

It feels odd.

And if you’re one of those people who has noticed that I’ve been gone. then maybe you’ve been wondering?

What happened? Where’d he go? Did he give up on us?

Fortunately, the answer is a BIG no on that last one.

But in case you were wondering, here’s the full update on where I’ve been and what’s going on in the future.

For me, this feels like the start of a new chapter. I’ve been doing this 14 years now, so in that time there have definitely been some different iterations of the site.

Here are a few of the turning points over the years.

• (2015) Sudden Loss, New Beginnings, and Three Simple Words –  I got married and lost a friend on the exact same day.
• (2017) 24 Lessons Learned from a 2 Months Sabbatical – I took a break and had the most epic adventure of my life.
• (2018) My Blog Became a Commodity.  – Shifting back to more personal content.
