How many times have you said you’re going to do that thing.
You know, that one.
The one you keep talking about.
The one you keep saying you’ll do someday.
But as the months (and let’s face it, years have progressed) little to no progress has been made.
Trust me, I’m qualified to talk about this because often my life can feel like one giant ball of good intentions.
And as well all know, the road to hell is filled with good intentions.
I’m going to write more…
I’m going to create that new product…
I’m going to be more engaged…
I’m going to go on that diet…
They’re all just words (or more likely thoughts) until you commit to taking action and hold yourself accountable for doing something about it.
Yesterday I announced I would be doing a daily blog for the month of September.
Why do it?
Well for a lot of reasons, but the big one is because I know myself.
And I know that my goal to get back into writing won’t happen unless I find a very public way to hold myself accountable – so doing this 30 day challenge is a great way to accomplish that.
We do these often inside our Location Rebel community, and it’s amazing how effective they can be to kickstart change, build momentum, and prove to yourself that yes you actually can do that thing you’ve always thought about doing.
So this month, for me, it’s writing. It’s getting back to my roots. It’s letting you into my world on a more regular basis.
But what about you?
What do you need accountability for, and would you like to join me? 30 days. One thing, consistently, every day.
It could be diet, exercise, cold pitching, writing, reading, blogging, vlogging the list goes on.
But I’m willing to bet if you join me in committing to one thing that’s important to you over the next 30 days? You’ll be far better off at the end of it.
This concept isn’t new. It’s been blogged about by thousands of people for years. But the fact remains, if you commit to it, it works.
And the good news is, we’ve done a lot of these challenges with our members and in our own lives. So we know a thing or two about how to be successful with it.
I’ll be here every day.

My 30 day challenge is to get everything set up (website, Facebook page, YouTube channel, email list etc) to make money online. I’ve been procrastinating about this for years.
At the end of the 30 days my intention is to have made at least $100
Thomas awesome to see the motivation! I call it creating a milestone mindset. Rather than just having you goal of $100, which you don’t have control over. Create a series of smaller goals, or milestones that you DO have action over that will lead to a better chance of making that money. Break down each of those other things into even smaller actions (website, FB page, YT etc).
So it might be for the website (buy a domain, get hosting, install wordpress, install a theme, write one post etc).
I love the idea of creating your own 30-day challenge if not for the accountability aspect alone. I recently created a similar challenge for myself. It is not going as well as I would like but I am better off than when I started.
Tony, why do you think it’s not going as well as you’d like? Do you think you need more accountability to help with it?
my goal is to get up at 8.30am (GMT) each day and be in bed by 12pm, so I can feel like I have more control over my life, so get up put music on while having a cup of tea and catch up with my emails,
go out for a 30-45 min walk at 9.15am
Return by 10.15am and settle down, give my cats breakfast and have my own breakfast
Start work on 750 words writing an article about myself or my local area (for my blog) 10.45am-12pm
Small Lunch 12pm- 12.45pm.
Go out and talk to local business owners and make connections 1pm-3pm
Come home and read my daily article and edit if it needs it and upload to my blog 3.15pm-4pm
deal with any email updates and messages on social media 4pm-4.30pm
wind down and relax maybe read a few chapters of a book 4.30pm-5pm
Enjoy Life= 5 pm onwards,
first time really thought about how I would like my days to be, every day I battle with depression and anxiety and some days it wins and some days I win but I keep going and keep trying to work to a better life 😉
ps. I will be starting this routine from Monday the10th of sept but will do it for 30 days and beyond.
